"All our words are but crumbs that fall down from the feast of the mind." -- Khalil Gibran
Just a few random notes
About site owner of HYPSIS: My name is Yvonne Grant and I have been married to my wonderful husband Darren Grant (planetntoks.weebly.com) for 24 years and counting. . . For most of my adult life I have been a housewife. In between those years I have done a lot of traveling with my husband and our two children, seeing at least half of this country, as well as living in Germany for a short while.
I've experienced the joys & sorrows (lol) of homeschooling our two children off and on for a few years. During those times, I also managed to earn an Associate of Arts Degree (Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, graduated with honors) and Certificate of Specialization in Business Administration. I've written and copyrighted over 40 poems and my hope is to one day publish a poetry book, which is currently in the making.
I started the HYPSIS website in 2009, as a way of documenting my journey of new found faith in the Lord God of Israel. This site for the most part was initially used as a resource hub for the Hebrew Israelite faith. During these past four years I have seen, experienced, and read a lot, which has put me at a place of re-evaluation. My website is just a glimpse of my life, it can be compared to a journal of notes about some of the information that I come across from time to time.
Currently, I am giving HYPSIS a new outlook, which includes some changes and additions, as a reflection of my growth and transition at this stage of my life. At the moment, I choose to share some of the findings that I come across on my journey as a reflection of certain insights, that I feel are somewhat worthy of making note of. My hope for this website is to plant a seed for all who visit. As for myself, I hope to grow from this journey and arrive at a place of more balanced expression. All praises due to the Lord God of Israel in Jesus' name - PEACE :)
